The letters 'G' and 'VG' mean 'Good' condition, and 'Very Good' condition.
CHROMES - Generally colour cards, produced from the 1950's onward.
LINENS - Have linen-like texture. Date from the 1940's-1950's.
REALPHOTOS - Produced from actual negative of photo. Various dates.
WHITE-BORDERS - Have thin white border around the edge of picture.
Generally date from
the 1920's-1930's.
PRE-1920's - The most sought after postcards. This was the 'Golden Age' of postcard collecting. Includes 'Divided Back', 'Undivided Back', and 'Pioneer' cards.
