" Spectral Mornings" entered the UK charts on May 26, 1979 reaching position 22 by June 2, 1979.

This is one of my favorite albums from Steve Hackett. It starts with a powerful number 'Every Day' and flows into a beautiful piece, 'The Virgin and the Gypsy', full of Brother John's enchanting flute. And of course the title track has become Steve's concert trademark.

Tracks marked with * are bonus material on the New Remaster Edition.

Musicians:
Steve Hackett: guitars, Roland guitar synth, koto (cantonese), harmonica, vocals and extras
John Hackett: flutes, concert & chinese bamboo models and bass pedals

Dik Cadbury: bass, bass pedals, violin and vocals
John Shearer: drums and percussion
Pete Hicks: lead vocals, harmonies
