Post-Trip

What has happened to me since?

Well, it took me a LONG time to finally recover from my trip to Japan. I was really hurting from missing Japan and the great times I experienced there. However, it does feel good to play a lot of hockey, video games, and poker, plus meeting up with my friends back home. As of this time, I am still working at the info centre as a supervisor, but I do hope to find a new career job soon. I've got my injured hand checked out and rest is in order, but I still try to play as much hockey as I can.

Post-trip laundry to clean up. Great.
My inferior cell phone... man, how come we North Americans are so far behind in cell phone technology?!?
My hockey helmet equipped with the quality Oakley clear hockey visor.
My hockey helmet now equipped with BLUE. It's a GREAT visor! I can still see things clearly and it cuts down on the glare from any bright ice. People do look a little more blue than usual, but nonetheless, it was a GREAT purchase! I'm VERY HAPPY with it! Now every time I wear this visor, it will remind me of the great times I had in Japan, especially the times I spent with three great friends.

Anyways, I must give HUGE THANK YOUS to the following:

  • Thank you Yoshiko and her family for such gracious hospitality while I was in Nagoya. Even though I never ended up going through the city of Nagoya, I had such an awesome experience exploring a side of Japan many might not see. And the lunch - oh man, I am really thankful for the wonderful food that were served. I will return to your prefecture very soon (no date selected yet though)! But for now, and again - thank you Yoshiko, Michio, Kiyomi, and Satoe! I don't know if I should thank your brother though... I guess you can just say hi to him.
  • Thank you Ly and Kei for the great hospitality you provided for me for the past four days; especially for the accommodations at your place! I had an unbelievable experience exploring Kyoto and Osaka and all the fun things we did - shrines, temples, elementary school and the great (yet somehwat naughty) kids, Yodobashi Camera, massage chairs, loads of cabbage... I really enjoyed all the time spent! However, I will send my apologizes to Ly for attacking your smelling senses with my crap. Anyways, I will return very soon! Besides, I haven't played Kei in Puyo Puyo yet... I'll work on my skills once I find that game here in Victoria.
  • Thank you Mie for all the things you had done for me! It was such an awesome experience to hang out with you once again! And all the things you had helped me with - Kobe Beef, the PSP (it works great - of course I'll let you know if it suffers any problems), transportation, etc. - again, I am very grateful for everything. However, I'm really sorry for delaying your late dinner on February 7 - I really got carried away in the moment. Anyways, I still have the notes on what you like, so feel free to test me - then again, I hope you remember what I like! ;-) I will return to Japan soon - my stomach yearns for more Kobe Beef!
Well, that's it. The Japan Tales is complete. I really hope you enjoyed the stories and pictures. Hopefully I can go on another vacation soon and possibly set up a new Tales. When that time comes, I'll remember to use the macro function on my camera and try not to be off-centered. :P

Now, I gotta find some way to make a lot of money to go travelling again... but first, I need to play some hockey!

Take it easy! :-)
