Wendy lived life to the fullest. Her passion in life was classical music. In the last few years, Wendy developed a love for jazz. Wendy loved to explore nature in her electric wheelchair. Her quiet presence encouraged the squirrels, birds and dragonflies to sit with her.

Wendy attended Marigold Elementary School (K-7) and Colquitz Junior High (8-9). Math, science, art and novel study were Wendy's most favourite classes. The support provided from school is one example that demonstrated the degree of commitment engendered in people by Wendy. We would like to acknowledge the loving commitment from the professionals in Wendy's life and that without exception their support far exceeded the normal parameters of their jobs.

For all those people who over the years have touched Wendy's life and have experienced her glowing spirit, through her smile and will, we thank you so much.

In recognition of both of Wendy's families wishes, Wendy passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends. There will be no formal service. There will be a drop in celebration of Wendy's life on Friday, March 01 from 3-6 pm. at Wendy's home. In lieu of flowers, we would appreciate donations in Wendy's name to go to Planned Lifetime Advocacy Network at Suite 260-3665, Kingsway Ave., Vancouver, B.C. V5R 5W2 (604-439-9566).
