This album is a wonderful collection of live tracks covering P.F.M.'s live performances over the years. "Absolutely Live" is slightly different than "10 Anni Live, 1971-1981" in that the fourth disc has added 'Electric Reflection', 'Storia in la', 'Acoustic Reflection' & 'Pennisula' and omitted the 1980-1981 tour ('Suonare Suonare', 'Maestro della voce', & 'Chi ha paura della noce'). Since these songs are also on "Performance" I consider "P.F.M. Absolutely Live" to be the collection to have. However when taking into account the higher price (circa. $US 70) of this Japanese pressing only the most convicted P.F.M. fan might wish to purchase this collection. (I couldn't find a copy of "10 Anni Live, 1971-1981") I am critical of the loud tape hiss on many songs. In this day of digital re-mastering certainly better production of the live recordings could certainly have been achieved.
