The Graham Musical Theatre program was introduced in 2008 and runs outside the regular school timetable.

Musical Theatre is a performance-based course in which students in a variety of disciplines and with diverse talents work collaboratively toward the staging of a professional-level musical theatre production, thereby experiencing (i.e., “learning by doing”) the value of interdependent, cooperative activity, and the responsibility that it entails.

GMT has been developed by Janine & Matthew Webster primarily to encourage a lifelong appreciation for the performing arts through the medium of musical theatre performance. We've also collaborated on many musicals prior to GMT, including The King and I, My Fair Lady, Brigadoon, A Chorus Line, Cabaret, Man of La Mancha, and A Little Night Music, all of which you can see more of by clicking on their titles.

We appreciate the privilege and pleasure of working with wonderful students who are willing to take risks and follow direction.

And lastly, but certainly not least, our abiding thanks to the many people in our community (musicians, sponsors, volunteers) without whom staging musicals of professional-level quality would be impossible.
