These are files designed to compare a FrameMaker list of imported graphics with a directory and report which graphics appear to be unused. It also creates a Windows batch file, mover.bat , that can be used to move those graphics to an 'unused_graphics' directory.
To use them, you will need Perl installed. (It does not come installed with Windows or Macintosh, but it usually does with UNIX.) On Windows, I use ActivePerl . On Macintosh, I use MacPerl .
For instructions on how to use these, see the comments at the top of find_unused_graphics.pl and at the top of run_it.bat . (To see the comments, open these in a text editor.)
All these files are text files. To download them, you can use "Save Link As" (or whatever your web browswer calls it). Or, view the file and choose "Save As" from your web browswer.
[Hmmm ... with some web browsers this ISP does not seem to deliver that file, even though it exists on the server. Maybe it doesn't trust batch files? Try downloading this copy ... run_it.bat2 ... you'll have to rename the extension to ".bat" manually.]
