CD Notes

Released in November 2004, this was one of box set containing the first four US album releases on Capitol Records. Each of the four discs contains two versions of each LP. One in stereo mix and one in mono. As was tradition at the time, these early Beatle albums were offered in both mixes to suit the needs of consumers. Eventually the move into stereo became a standard for the music industry, but the trend of releasing Beatles' albums in two version continued through to the end of the 1960's.

Album Notes

Beatles '65 was Capitol's version of the UK album Beatles For Sale. It included 8 tracks from the UK album as well as I'll Be Back (left off of Beatles For Sale) and the band's latest UK single and B-side, I Feel Fine and She's A Woman. Those two songs were issued in "rechanneled stereo", while the rest were stereo mixes. Unreleased in the UK.
