New Canopy

Well... I've been looking for a good used truck canopy for my F-150 for a little while now. I've really wanted one for a loooooooooooong time.

Anyhow, I checked out the Buy&Sell paper online and saw a red colour 2000 Raider - Nomad2 for sale... at a really good price. It has the smooth automotive type glass, adjustable sport roof rack, insulated interior, clothes hanger rack, LED third brake light, interior light, front slider and all the windows are tinted. Matches my cab window tint too. Gotta like it!

So here it is:

After cleaning it and washing it I found a small leak by the third brake light so that has to be fixed and I have to wire it in to the rear taillights.

Hopefully I can still squeeze into underground parking lots. I haven't measured it for height yet. The roof rack might make it too high. We'll see. :-)

Edit: The third brakelight had some burnt out LED's so I bought a new one from the Surrey Cap-It dealer. Plus he gave me a couple of grommets for the roof rack bolts that were missing inside the roof for free. The new LED light is hermetically sealed so no water in the lense and I siliconed the hole for the wire so no more leaks. Otherwise it fits great, looks nice and I like it a lot. (June 10,03)
