One of my  hobbies! (to say the least)

Select from the links on the left to go to an area of particular interest to you.

I have collected info/tips on putting together you own home/office network, which computer parts to buy right now, what sort of hardware I have and a link to a good article on how to build your own computer.

If you are contemplating building your own you should add up the prices of individual components and compare that with what a ready-made system will cost. Always purchase hardware from a reputable computer reseller. They're the people you'll be buying individual hardware pieces from if you build your own. Generally I've found there are a few dollars to be saved by purchasing a ready-made system (from a reseller) that is custom made with the motherboard you specify along with all the other components that you would have put in a "owner-built" system.
