updated Sept. 17, 2002 This is a new topic here. I've had an interest in alternative energy since I was in grade 5 or 6 (10-11yrs old). My science project back then was a windmill that powered a 6volt bicycle dynamo. It wasn't a very successful project in terms of power production but got me started. Click the links to the left to read about various energy topics. This area is under construction is added to on occasion. See my Pacific Energy "Summit" woodstove installation. A little bit of information on pellet stoves is provided as well. Wind Power is another good source of energy when combined with solar. For more info see the "Links" to other cool alternative energy websites as well as additional links in these specific webpages. Click the "Desulfator" page to view details on building a circuit to bring back lead-acid batteries from the dead. Originally designed to keep expensive diesel/electric locomotive battery banks in good shape. |
