Originally from South Africa, Petra came to live
in the Comox Valley in
2001. Under the guidance
and inspiration of her art teacher, Saskia King,
she discovered her passion for painting. Petra
works
in oils, and is influenced by the vibrancy,
adventure and magic of colour. Her subject matter
varies from still lifes to nudes.
