Panya (Mom) and a day old baby Pouch Rat, asleep on the bottom of her cage. For some reason she decided to give birth on the bottom of her cage instead of her nest box. Panya moved her three babies into the nest box a couple of days later.	Baby Pouch rat being bottle fed. About 3 weeks old.
Too bad human kids didn't clean up after themselves like this 3 week old baby Pouch Rat did after her bottle.	Star, at three weeks of age, is our first baby Pouch Rat to be born with a white patch on the body. The white marking are rare. We will be keeping her and adding her into our breeding program when she is old enough.
