I read somewhere that this guy made a lead screw nut (he couldnt
afford ball screws) for his existing lead screws .
He made the nut out of aluminum-bronze then cut it in half and put
some shim stock inbetween then bolted it back together
this way he could somewhat minimize the backlash and also adjust for
wear

oz in) or not.
I guess I'll look at 450 and above
the place wiyh the 230 's also has the 4 amp 750 oz in
for about 1800.00 us
