230 oz-in sounds way to small to me for a mill like mine. Maybe they would
be ok for a Sherline or other small mill. Most people, including the Ah-ha
people who really seem to know what they are talking about, have recomended
450 to 650 oz-in motors for me.

Also if it can only cut in one axis at a time that is not very useful as I'm
sure you can imagine.

I hadn't seen that site before and will poke around there a bit.

Here is my plan:

-Yeager software $175
-Camtronics 3-axis drivers $ 225
-Camtronics DB-25 $30
-Camtronics Power supply $80?
-cables $30?
-New 450 oz-in Pacific Scientific stepper motors $600
-total $1140 plus some shipping and some time to assemble.

all the other costs of mounting and pulleys etc are common to all systems.
This system would be way beefier than the Motion Groups. I have heard the
Yeager software is really great.

Also see this with 650 oz-in motors http://www.wdr-sales.com/cncj.htm
