I also looked into getting timing belt sprockets.
I talked to the folks at Ah-ha. They said that the motor shafts
they sell
come with a flat spot for a setscrew. (They are Pacific Scientific
motors
that are specially made for Ah-ha.)
The sprockets I looked at today from a company called Browning
Manufacturing
all had key ways. I think key ways would be better.
I figure that if Ah-ha gets the shafts with flat spots a lot
of people must
want them that way for some reason. Would you?
To those with timing belt systems:
How are yours mounted? With keyways or set screws?
Who manufactured them?
Roughly how much did you pay for each sprocket size?
