Thanks for the advice. I think that I am stuck with my mill/drill for now
and that upgrading it would be the best choice. I can upgrade for about $3k.
If I sold my machine and bought the STN I would be spending $5-9k which is a
lot more money.

The thing I am most interested in now is what sort of stepper torque I
should get. Do you think 450 oz-in would be adequate or should I get
600-1000 oz-in? Is bigger better in this case?
