Peter,
One other consideration you may want to make is the number of G-codes
supported by the software sold with the different packages. Ah-ha
supports Fanuc-6 format, an industry standard for G-codes. SuperCam,
the last time I talked to Dennis, supports only 4 G-codes. It does do
some neat stuff, though. Another alternative on software is MaxNC Pro
which supports over 20 G and M codes and interfaces through the parallel
port as well. I'm not sure about Indexer-lpt, but with Hoyt's front
end, should be a consideration. Good luck.
