developing a cost estimation model using Monte Carlo simulation.

Signal Processing, Burnaby, BC, 2003 – 2004 Spectrum Signal Processing
develops software reconfigurable high density wireless communications
products for the military communications and signal intelligence markets.
Revenues were $35M in 2003. Provided technical expertise to the marketing
department, introduced new financial modeling techniques to Product Management
and Sales for estimating future revenues as well as current costs of delivering
services.
- Developed and presented plan to Spectrum’s
executive for doubling European sales revenues, and increasing customer
satisfaction.
- Improved sales force effectiveness by developing
new sales tools and marketing collateral and organizing them into
an intranet based portal for easy off-site access.
- Lead and implemented a project to overhaul
the content of Spectrum’s website.
- Increased Spectrum’s thought-leadership by
writing case studies of the use of Spectrum’s equipment by customers.

Vancouver, BC, 2000 – 2001 Glenayre develops voice mail and wireless communication
infrastructure equipment. Revenues were $130M in 2001. Provided the systems
engineering support for product management and marketing for two way paging
infrastructure products and telemetry devices.
- Recommended strategies for positioning paging
technology for wireless telemetry applications after researching competing
wireless technologies including GSM and CDMA.
- Gathered technical and business requirements
for new wireless devices and applications by meeting with potential
customers and partners, and made recommendations to product management.
