Hang on for an exciting ride in the open water to where the whales are! The Gulf Islands and San Juan Islands are the best places to view the magnificent Orca in their natural habitat. This area offers sheltered water for more comfortable viewing and the scenery. Wildlife, including eagles, otters, seals, sea lions and endless interesting sights, are second to none. These islands are strategically located in the middle of the Orca’s daily path as they cruise the Salish sea for salmon. We often see them close to shore as they forage for food. The most reliable months for Orca sightings are June to late September with August usually being the best. Exposure suits are available for passengers wishing to sit outside to experience the elements. Cruise time is 3+  hours. This cruise is not recommended for those suffering from neck/back problems, persons in frail health or pregnant women. We follow PWWA guidelines for responsible Whale Watching . Tours are subject to safe weather conditions.
