The Peninsula Tennis Club was formed in early 2000 to serve the needs
of tennis enthusiasts on the Saanich Peninsula. It makes use of the four
indoor and two outdoor courts at Panorama Recreation Centre to offer
socials in men's, women's, and mixed doubles play, as well as competitive
tennis through the various VITA interclub leagues.
The membership continues to grow at a steady pace, and now comprises
60 members, who are mainly in the intermediate 3.5 to 4.5 playing range.
