Schedule of Fees and Suggested Donations
Use of the Church for a Wedding, Memorial 1) Service: $250 (use of the church building and related facilities) This includes the use of the church, the hall, and other rooms, the preparations of orders of service and office materials, the payment of staff, and other preparations and clean-up fora service and/or a reception. 2) Reception $70-350 (tea/coffee/sandwiches/dessert squares) $3.50 per person (minimum $70), based on an estimate of the number of people attending 3) Music (organist/pianist) min. $100 This figure includes $80 honorarium for the organist/pianist, and $20 towards the maintenance of music ministry and instruments within the parish. Any additional payments for soloists, other musicians, bands, choirs, or music groups, is arranged on an individual basis. 4) Clergy Honorarium min. $150-250 -- suggested minimum range of $150-250, includes initial and follow-up home or office visit(s) and interview(s), pastoral presence, and the preparation and leadership of a church service -- for burials, a separate or later Graveside burial service at a time other than the memorial service or funeral: suggested range of $50-100
5) Gifts/Memorial Offerings (optional). We provide a tax-deductible receipt for donations towards the ongoing work and ministry of the parish. This can be a way of honoring someone you love. With a memorial, you allow a loved one's life to continue adding value to the local community and parish.
