On the first Saturday of every month at 8 a.m. the men of the parish gather for a breakfast fellowship. The main purpose is to encourage fellowship. However, there are on occasion, presentations on timely topics by a guest or one of our members. Also, decisions are often made in regard to the men's involvement in parish and community projects
We can always count on information on parish concerns by Mike Hill - of course always done with a great deal of humour.
Interest is high in the early morning by those in the men's breakfast fellowship
Our breakfasts are catered to by the Community Kitchen's group and the funds they derive from this service go a long way in helping the costs of their worthwhile ministry.
Services in St. Edmunds are held each Sunday at 10:45 a.m.. On the first Sunday of the month the congregation that usually meets at St. Anne's for the Daystart service joins together for the Interlit Service at St. Edmunds.
Daystart services are held at St. Anne's each Sunday at 9 a.m. except on the first Sunday of the month when both congregations gather together at St. Edmund's
A Coffee Hour takes place each Sunday after the St. Anne's 9 a.m. Daystart services and the St. Edmund 10:45 a.m. services. We can always count on a good crowd of the young, old and in-between.
The present Rector of St. Anne's and St. Edmund's is the Reverend Andrew Twiddy. Andrew works hard at building and maintaining the community of faith here as well as being involved in the Men's Spirituality Movement in the Diocese known as Sacred Balance.
