Here are a few pics on hydraulic clutches.
I was picking over a Turbo Coupe and got interested in the hydraulics.
Later, parts from the trucks were taken for comparision.
All of them are plastic with a steel liner in the bore. All are
marked AP, and all have a fitting on the end which pushes in and
is held by a roll pin.
For a slave cylinder I have one off a 1.9 SEFI Escort, which
seems to have the correct orientation. This project is down the
list on things to do, so this is here as info.

The master fits in the cover beside the
steering column. Most fox bodies have the same cover, which is
usually blank. The reservoir attaches to the other end of the
hose on the firewall.
The Ford engineers were clever to use this cover, as there really is no other place on the firewall to put the cylinder.
The pedal seems to be the same, but the cross shaft has
an arm that points down, not up. It swings in a hole in the steering
bracket, and I'm not sure if the mustang piece needs to be altered.

The truck parts are more normal. The F150 bolts straight
in, while the ranger has the same downward slope as the t-bird.
I'm told the later T-Bird SuperCoupe has a separate clutch pedal and pedal box, with a hydraulic master that twists in.
