BITS OF TECH
When I signed up for cable they gave
me some free web space, so I thought I might as well use it somehow.
(how's that for dedication?)
Anyways, I have a bunch of photos of tips and tricks that
others may find useful and interesting, and I would like to share
them. A Mustang is what I drive but most of the tips have wide
usage. As I update my Fox new pages are added.
You can see the categories to the left. All of them are
illustrated with photos. Most of the photos are mine, but some
generic types are from the net. I used them to give you the same
overview of a subject that I received from them.
The photos are tight, with no mountains, trees, or houses
taking up the top half. My camera was a Canon film type. The
site was started by scanning photos in. Then it changed as Walmart
will burn a CD for 2 dollars, so I didn't need to scan anymore.
Updated; I finally got a digital camera for
free from my credit card company. Another Canon. All I had to
do was charge up huge amounts for years to get enough points
for a 'free prize'.
Further Update; a tree fell in the yard and I must
have left the camera in the front during its removal, because
it walked away. But I had enough points on another card to get
a Sony Cybershot. Better camera except for the macro. And a replacement
USB cord is 50 bucks!
Here it is 8 years later and the site has
grown to 28 pages and 252 pics with a total size of 12.1Gb.
I have linked to a few places that helped
me with a topic instead of repeating what they say. On this page
I tried to give you things that aren't on other pages.
The site itself is purposely simple.
I used Pagemill 3, which Adobe abandoned many years ago. It is
quick and easy to use. You just type normally, paste photos,
and drag links.
The pages are black on white, with no flash, java, animation,
or sounds. I tried to keep it simple on this information site.
There is no email on the site, but I
am around the web.
