I paint because that's what excites and intrigues me.  Painting equals pleasure equals lots more painting, in a fortuitous feedback loop.  Each painting is another opportunity for challenge, experiment and learning.

Painting lets me celebrate  my two favorite subjects, the moods and majesty of the Rocky Mountains, and the character and stories of the people around me.
