THE WEDDING

September 1, 2001 — what a wonderful day! We were truly blessed to have so many family members and dear friends join us on the occasion of our long-awaited marriage. Several guests remarked to us that they had never before been in a place filled with so much love and joy. All in all, it was a day filled with laughter and love, tears and tenderness — truly the things that memories are made of.

Scene Stealers — Lucas Grabi, our ring-bearer, and Alex Kluthe, our junior bridesmaid steal the show as they perform their duties.	Main Event — Rob and Pat exchange vows at the Garrison military chapel.	Environmentally Friendly Confetti — Elaine Fisk hands out birdseed to Arnie Fisk and Dianne Jamieson as they exit the church under the watchful eyes of our Strathcona troopers.
Where’d you get that hat? — Rob and Pat make a not-so-hasty departure in grand style.	All Aboard! — The bridal party and guests were invited to enjoy the experience of riding in the carriage.	The Newlyweds — Rob and Pat posed for photos in the garden.
The Bridal Party — The entire bridal party maintained their composure despite being eaten alive by insects.	Alberta Style — The reception was held in a giant tent in the back yard with guests wearing casual western attire.	Speechifications — Everyone at the head table had their opportunity to say a few words — Rob’s obviously made Pat cry.
Dancin’ the Night Away — Something about those black hats that make people do the strangest things!
