-When the National President, Sister Jeannette delivered the new charter to the local 20975 CPP/OAS I was there to welcome the members and celebrate the occasion.

 

-When the new Common Experience Payment processing unit was announced in Victoria, I was there to meet with the Director Jim Quinn and meet the membership.

 

-When the first Canada employment and Immigration regional health and safety inspection was conducted at the office of CPP/OAS I was there to meet with the Director Kim Burg

 

-When Anne Milne, the Senior Director for Payment and Processing, visited the non consolidated sites, I was there to support the membership

 

-When the Regional Executive Head, Andy Netzel, was in the North delivering his vision of the future of Service Canada, I was there supporting the membership with their questions and concerns

 

-When there is a safety issue in one of the small offices I am at the table trying to get resolution with the Regional Executive Head.

 

-When the members who request deployment are being ignored I am there talking to the Regional Executive Head and Senior Directors for solutions to the issues

 

- When there are concerns regarding staffing I am at the table with the Regional Executive Head to voice my dissatisfaction.

 

-When the members asked for more information regarding the Labour Market Development Agreement I established a committee to research and provide that information.

 

-When the potential Employee Transfer Agreement was announced I was at the table with British Columbia Employees Union to ensure there is a welcome for the members by their union.

 

-When the employer goes to the table to negotiate the employee transfer agreement I will be there to ensure we get the best possible deal for the membership

 

-When there is an issue or a concern no matter how small or large, I will be there to do whatever is required to resolve those issues and concerns.
