The Daemon Wars

Fifty years after the Shattering, N'aitar came out of hiding. Since he was on his way to becoming a living god, he decided that all mortals were expendable. He released an army of demonic creatures across Pyraas, who proceeded to wreak havoc. While many were driven into hiding, the threat was never eliminated and dark creatures wander the land quite frequently. A section of the Daressun Army was retrained as daemon hunters, since they no longer have to worry about invasion by the orcs of Morad-dûn. Much of the world has been thrown once again into chaos. N'aitar has at last been destroyed, but his legacy lives on.
