Pyranor
Pyranor is the greatest Dwarven fortress ever built. It is located in the middle of the Mohorovic Mountains, and opens on to either side.
It covers several hundred square miles, both above and below ground, and comfortably
houses thousands of hill and mountain dwarves. Nobody knows how they do it without conflict, save the dwarves themselves.
It was constructed in the early days of the Age of Chaos to shield themselves from the beasts that ravaged the open areas. Pyranor
is incredibly well fortified and defended, even for dwarves. It has one massive gate on either side of the mountains, and hundreds of
ballistae and parapets poking up from various parts of the underground section. Their front entrance has been converted into a seaport,
as it is the only access to the mountains since the Shattering.
