N'aitar
"Once have I failed to dominate this world, and once have I failed to destroy it. Destruction is too good for you, but the third time's the charm, as your bards say..."
It is not known where N'aitar originated from, although he is thought to be a half-demon,
or perhaps the offspring of the banished dark gods. He was leader of the dark army of demons
during the Shadow Wars, and was sealed inside Morgaelin along with the rest of them by Kirulin, King Morias, and Eth'vealathesti.
Very little else is known about him. Just prior to the Shattering, he escaped from his prison. He had been driven partially insane
and totally power-mad by his years of imprisonment, and tried to access Pyraas's immense magical power. After several months,
he successfully cracked Kirulin's seal, catching him off guard. Before Kirulin could do anything, he travelled to Erandor disguised
as the steward of the house, and attempted to cull the souls of all who lived there to further increase his power. Before he could
succeed, he was disrupted by four unknown heroes. While it is generally thought that he was not destroyed, he has not been sighted
since that day. More information on this is presented in the "History of Pyraas" section.
Update: It was recently discovered that
N'aitar does still exist, and is planning to retake the mainland of Pyraas so he can eliminate the dark god Neskaar and take his place.
He became the guardian (the embodiment, or avatar if you will) of magic in Pyraas, following the shattering, and decided that with
this power he could challenge Neskaar. He was defeated by four heroes when Neskaar stripped him of his power, and the heroes
split the guardianship of magic between them so that all four of them would have to be slain before someone could gain such power
again.
