Loss of Power

In the event of power loss the staff will contact the hydro company to learn more about the problem. If they find out that the power loss problem is extensive and/or if it has been an hour of loss of power, parents will be contacted and encouraged to come and pick up their child. If parents wish to contact the daycare centre while the power is out, they can do so by calling our cell phone at 896-0512.

Snow Closure

In the event of a significant snowfall, Parkdale Early Childhood Centre may close. Typically, we will follow the public schools in determining whether our facility will be open or closed. Should it be determined that the facility will be closed due to snow, we will contact the radio station CFAX 1070. Please listen to, or contact, CFAX 1070 to determine if we are closed.
