WALL married Alice TOWNSEND, Daughter of Robert and Alice TOWNSEND of Yate, in 1807. Their family was born in Rangeworthy and lived in that area and Iron Acton.
Acording to the 1851 census Alice was living with her daughter Elizabeth at Rangeworthy. Alice died around 1854 in Iron Acton. Elizabeth was married to Thomas
DREW who was the son of Robert DREW and Hannah FORD. Elizabeth's Sister Sarah married Ambrose PULLIN before they all moved to Australia.

Dennis Reed, My grandfather, Edwin TOWNSEND, son of Mary (nee Short) and George TOWNSEND was born in Iron Acton in 1885 and also my grandmother, Emily (nee CULLIMORE) whose mother was Emily (nee DENNING) and father, Anthony CULLIMORE. She was born in 1885 also. They later came down to Wales and had ten children.

WATKINS, born 1894 Poole Farm, Iron Acton - daughter of William Henry WATKINS and Elizabeth WATKINS (possibly nee BEAVER). Edith had threee sisters - Elsie born 1893, Florence born 1896, Ida born 1903. I know the girls went to school in Iron Acton. I visited the village in 1997 when I was making a 'pilgramage' back to England, but couldn't find much information.ÊI'd be very interested in hearing from anyone with "WATKINS" information.Ê
