Sylvia Lagah, IÊam researching the GARFIELD family and am hoping to link these GARFIELD'S with the GARFIELD'S of Mancetter, Warwick.ÊJohn GARFIELD married Sarah JONES 1710 Preston-on-Stour. (Sarah was possibly born Preston-on-Stour 1688) They had 5 known children John b 1711, Anne b. 1713, Henry b. 1713, Thomas b. 1716 and William b. 1725. Thomas GARFIELD is my line and I believe he moved to Bidford-on-Avon where he married Elizabeth SHEPHERD in 1737. They had 3 known children John b.1740, Anne b. 1743 and Mary b. 1747. I have various papers relating to the John GARFIELD'S (father and son) pertaining to surveys done on lands owned by a Mr ROBERTS at Clopton 1710, Aishcooms 1751, Mickleton and Meon Hill

Phil Smith, I am researching my SMITH family who were farmers and landowners in Lower Quinton and Preston upon Stour up until the family moved to Warwick in 1880.ÊÊ The family home up until then was Meon Hall in LowerÊMeon, Lower Quinton.Ê I`ve traced them back to the birth of my Great, great, great grandfather and the Birth of John SMITH of Preston upon Stour to his parents John and Susanna SMITH in 1782; not bad since the family line contains three John SMITH's and both my Grandmother and Great-Grandmother remarried. My family has connections by marriage with the CHAPMAN family of Mickleton, the ALLEN family,Êthe PRENTICE family, and the GIBBS family.

Melissa White. I live in New Zealand and I am researching my gr gr great grandfathers line. Edward DYDE / DIDE bap 1767 Pebworth, parents were Thomas DIDE and Grace KIRBY Thomas' parents were Barnes DIDE b1700 and Mary WILKINS Edward married Sarah EMMS Bap 1771 Pebworth, parents were John EMMS and Mary OAKLEY. Mary's parents were Edward and Elizabeth. Sarah and Edward had a son Edward c1794 who was transported to Australia. (For stealing a sheep) Edward b c1794 was first married to a Elizabeth REEVES and had three children Charles, Charles and Grace. Grace married William ROBBINS. Elizabeth's parents were William REEVES and Grace HEATH.
Most of my people appear to be situated around Pebworth, Quinton, Broad Marston, Ebrington.

Gerald Southam, researching the SOUTHAM family tree. I can trace them back to Banbury in 1564 but would like to fill in a few holes and also verify the information that I have collected. The family spread out to Alderminster, Batsford, Blockley, Chipping Campden, Ebrington, Honington, Ilmington,
Moreton-in-Marsh and Quinton.

Shirley Porter. I am looking for my ggrandfather's family. Edmund BEAZLEYÊ(spelt various ways) he is on 1881 census in Upper Quinton with his family, wife Mary A and 5 children, I know his wife died and he married again, so he may have a new wife by 1901.

Graham Long, researching my direct line moved out in 1920 after about 100 years in the village OF Quinton I am interested in any NEAL ( or NEALE as one line became from about 1820.) Also WATTS who came in from Halford. HIGGINSÊ from about 1800 onwards. SIMMONDS (or SIMMONS) who arrived about 1850 and a maternal cousin still lives there. SIMMONDS came from Oxhill, and am interested in any from about 1850. Prior to that from Alcester in Warwickshire from 1780. NEAL decended from Richard b 1758Êand Elizabeth. I believe he came from Bretforton family there about 1760, interested to know of any Bretforton NEALs. I believe they came from Chipping Campden about 1710 to 1740 Interested in any descendents from there. I believe they connect back to Ebrington so am interested in any from there from 1625 or earlier. Any NEAL in that area that may tie in. WATTS family from Halford area 1760 onwards also HIGGINS from Halford.
