They had several children: Eliza ch 10.2.1828 and bur 22.11.1832 Deerhurst, Thomas ch 23.8.1829 bur 15.6.1833 Deerhurst, Charles ch 11.9.1831 Deerhurst, Harriet SALLIS ch 16.3.1834 Deerhurst, Hannah ch 20.9.1835 bur 2.8.1838 Deerhurst, Mary ch 6.5.1838 Deerhurst, Ann ch 13.9.1840 bur 12.11.1841 Tewkesbury, Joseph b 1841 Tewkesbury, Emma b 1844 Tewkesbury, Ann b 1847 Tewkesbury, Harriet SALLIS had a child, Eliza SALLIS on 26.7.1852 in Tewkesbury but no father is shown on Eliza's birth certificate.Ê (Eliza SALLIS is my great, great, grandmother).Ê Harriet went on to marry George Hawkins on 21.6.1858 in Tewkesbury.
Joseph SALLIS senior was buried on 26.4.1841and is shown as coming from Apperley. Ann SALLIS, his wife remarried a waterman, Jonathan GANNAWAY in 1851. I would like to know who Joseph SALLIS' parents were.Ê Any help on this would be appreciated.

Richard Sweet, My Great-Grandmother was Ethel WALKER, born 1873 in Ashchurch. She married Arthur SWEET, probably in 1905 in Ashbrittle, Somerset. She had 2 sisters, Fanny (1875-1971) and Florence (1874-1956), both born in Ashchurch. Their parents were Henry Arkell WALKER (1845-1883) and Mary Elizabeth CRUMP (1847-?). Henry was christened in Little Washbourne and had at least 8 siblings. He died in the area. Mary was born in Deerhurst of Thomas CRUMP and Elvira (maiden name unknown). She had at least 9 siblings. Henry's parents were Edwin WALKER (B. Abt 1814, Blockley) and Ann (maiden name unknown) (B. Abt 1811, Longborough.)

Bruce Ireland, I have recently started researching the IRELAND family who lived in Chaceley, Forthampton, Eldersfield, Ashelforth, and otherÊareas in the Severn River valley.Ê I would very much appreciate 2 types of information on the family.Ê Firstly, the earliest records I have found are from early 1700; I am seeking data from earlier than this. Secondly, I am trying to find out the occupations of any of the family, or copies of any letters or other personal documents.Ê

D. J. Bevan, researching Sarah Ann CHAMBERLAIN. This is the name of my grandmother who was born in Tirley on or around 1850. She married Henry SMITH in Gloucester around 1868 and they had 12 children, born at 90 Sherborne St, but moving to Clement St., Brook St. and Wellington St, all in Gloucester. For the purpose of a family research, I would be most grateful for any information about Sarah, in particular her parents names and address.
