Lesley Daniels, I am researching ESTCOURT and PEARCE from the Long Newnton area. Elizabeth (Martha) ESTCOURT (born 1823), of Estcourt Park, married William Wheeler Connor PEARCE (born 1827) in Leckhampton on18 May 1850. They had Jane, Charles, Emily, Emma, Joseph Griffiths and Harry PEARCE. Estcourt Park, the home of the Escourt Family in Long Newnton, is now demolished. Any information on any of the above would be much appreciated.

The FRY `s were listed as plasterers in the Tetbury and Wotton Under Edge census 1851. TwoÊFRY families descended from the above moved to Australia in 1856 and 1857Ê I would appreciate any connections or information of the FRY family descendants who remained in Gloucestershire.

Ken Murray, I have found many references in both parish registers (Long Newnton and Ashley) for my families: HAREWELL, SPIRE, WOOLNOUGH, FRY (years 1770-1870). I would LOVE to hear from anyone who either has any knowledge of the history of these villages, or has any family connection with those names. Also, from anyone with knowledge of the history and families of the Trouble House Inn, where my ancestors were landlords 1804-1844.

Phil Warn of the Warn brewing family in Tetbury and I am the List dad of the Tetbury List on Rootsweb. I have two members of the WARN family marrying into the WITCHELL family, another brewing company. The COOK family were another Tetbury brewing family. I am interested also in the YATES surname from Stroud. I have well over two hundred WITCHELL folks based mainly in GLS and WIL. I have three of the books on Tetbury. Other Tetbury surnames being researched are EDWARDS, BROWN, BUTLER. Like Ken Murray I have links to the Trouble House Inn, to the MORSE surname, ARUNDELL, etc.

Patricia G. esearching George THOMAS mar 1 Dec. 1853 to Sarah Susannah BROOKS of White Ladies. He died 2nd March 1882 at Highfield Farm., Tetbury lately of Lasborough Farm. His son (1) George Edward Brooke THOMAS and Wife Louisa nee BRINKWORTH had 7 children by 1894 in Tetbury but by 1901 were in East Challow., Berkshire. (2) James George Cox THOMAS and wife Sarah Louisa nee IND moved from Lasborough to Stone., Gls where he died 1892 aged 37. No known children. The Church of St. Mary Lasborough was rebuilt in 1861 and the Tenor Bell was presented by George THOMAS snr - a Church Warden of the time.

Diane McMurray, I am researching the COOK family from Tetbury. My great grandfather was Jermiah married to Eliza COOK formerly LAPPEN. They had a son, my grandfather william on 27th June 1874 who went on to marry Mary PATRICK in St Mary's church on 26 Nov 1898 If anyone has any information I would be grateful.

Geoff Morse, researching the DAVIS family from Tetbury, starting with Samuel DAVIS born around 1787. He married Maria HAWKINS (b. Tetbury) in 1812 and their first son Daniel (b. 1813) married Mary Ann HALL (b. Tetbury ca. 1816) in 1842. The family moved to Purton, WIL in around 1868
