James & Claudia Castle. We have just identified a couple of members of the family that have resided in this area from the 1851 Census.Ê We would be interested in any details of the:
BLACKWELL, George (Farmer) and his family of Hazlecote
BLACKWELL, Harriet nee FOWLER
BLACKWELL, George
BLACKWELL, Sarah
BLACKWELL, William (We believe William died in childhood as we can find no further records of him)
BALL, Elizabeth niece of either George Blackwell or his wife Harriet Fowler
In 1881 George Jnr was a farmer in Kingscote with his brother Edward F and his sister Mary E.
The BLACKWELL family stayed in the area and that George JnrÕs brother Edward Fowler BLACKWELL, who was not yet born in 1851, moved to Frocester where the family extended.Ê
