Meryl Cowdell, I am interested in the TIMBRELL family, Paul TIMBRELL born in Alderton in 1852 (this I already know because I have his birth certificate), his father was named James TIMBRELL, at the time of his death, he was living in Gretton (1869) his occupation was something that looks like 'allortman on the turnpike road' does anyone know what this was or where it could have been? James TIMBRELL was I believe born about 1809 in Guiting Power. His father was John TIMBRELL born I believe in Clapton, married to Ann.
If anyone has any info I would greatly appreciate it.

Nigel Collett, I am seeking information towards a biography of Brigadier-General REH DYER CB, who ordered the firing at the Jallianwala Bagh in Amritsar in 1919, and who died in 1927. His niece, Katherine Mabel DYER, married Brigadier-General Hilary LEWIS of Hilary Cottage, Rissington (there is no mention of whether this is Little or Great), Glosc. I have no dates of birth or death for Hilary or Katherine LEWIS, but guess they died around or after the Second World War. I have no detail of their children other than that they were Peter Gerald Timothy LEWIS, Phoebe Anne Katherine LEWIS (who married Jeremy ARMITAGE; they had two children, Katherine ARMITAGE and James ARMITAGE), Elizabeth Barbara Hillary LEWIS and Caroline Laura Mary LEWIS.
I am seeking to make contact with any surviving member of the family concerning a DYER family tree constructed by Brigadier LEWIS.

Sue Wilson, My Grandfather was Wiliam TIDMARSH b 9 March 1900, son of William George TIDMARSH and Beatrice Gertude (nee WILKES). Lived in Gt Barrington - there was a brother called Oliver. My G.father ran away to WW1 joined Navy - age was discovered after he was in the Battle of Jutland he then joined the Royal Glous'ters.

Diane Ball. We are currently researching my husband's family tree. ÊWe believe he is a descendant of the CAMBRAY family of Gt Rissington and have a copy of a book written by the Rev Dunbar Dunbar. Any information you can give us in this respect would be greatly appreciated. His grandmother was called Gertrude Isabelle Cambray but her name was slightly altered to Gertrude Isabel on her death certificate.

Roger W. Alder, researching the ALDER family in Churchill (and in Shipton-under-Wychwood) into the 1770s. Earlier information from that area would still be welcome, of course!. On the MORRIS side, I know the family were in Cold Aston (Aston Blank) around 1800, and probably came from Great Rissington earlier. I am also now interested in the DAVIS family from Naunton before 1840.

HARRIS born about 1720 in Great Barrington. The 3rd of that name and line, yet another Caesar HARRIS was born 1749 in Minster Lovell so I have the PR which records him and most of my other ancestors.

Joy Griffiths, My ancestors are the EDEN family who came to New Zealand from Little Barrington on the ship the Stonehouse in 1874. A rather sad tale as they left Little Barington with 4 children and 3 were buried at sea after an epidemic of measles. The 4th child, a baby, died only 2 weeks after arriving in New Zealand. John and Hannah EDEN settled and had 4 more children (all sons).
