Eileen RAMPKE (neeHALL), My great grandfather George HALL and great grandmother Selina HALL were buried in Charlton Abbots Churchyard, dates are (23/3/1911 George) & (8/11/1911 Selina). Children of George & Selina were Leonard1861, Thomas 1862, Oliver William 1864 (my grandfather) James 1865 (died 10 months) Annie 1868 Hannah Jane 1869. Sandra Hands, researching the STRATFORD family all dates, Sevenhampton. I have a burial record for Mary Stratford second wife of William Straford (buried Nov 30th 1828) which does not seem to appear in the burial list for that Parish. Mary Stratford was buried on May 21 1804 their infant daughter was buried on dec 19th 1804. Also researching the VALE family. shands @talk21.com

John Pockett, researching POCKETT (and variants) in the Sevenhampton area. Earliest POCKET(T)s in the Sevenhampton / Cheltenham / Prestbury area and wider seem to have come from Sevenhampton in the 17c. Bill Baldwin, researching the JAMES family of Charlton Abbots 1850-1885. David JAMES born in Aston Blank was my great granddad, had issue of 9. He died in 1881, his wife Maria was interned in Little Rissington in 1899. Of the nine childern of David & Maria, the most info I have, is of Edmond, Rose was my grandmother, who passed away in 1947 at the age of 87 she was interned at the Greet Road Cemetery, Winchcombe. Maria was 89 at the time of her death, she had been living at Upper Slaughter with her grandson in the 1891 census. If any one has any info would they please contact me.

Linda Crump, Looking for information on Joseph James CRUMP, son of John CRUMP and Sophia JAMES b. Dec. 30, 1813 in Charlton Abbots, Joseph married Elizabeth HARRIS in 1833 in Hawling. The parish registers show Joseph was a miller at Bran Mill in 1837, and the 1851-1871 census show him as an ag labourer. Children:
Martha 1835 Brockhampton, Eliz 1837 Brockhampton, John 1839 Blockley, William 1843 Blockey, Jane died 1845, Jane 1847 died, Thomas James Crump 1849, Phoebe 1852 Blockey, George 1854 Draycott, David 1856.

Merilyn Manley-Harris, My mother, who is 93, was born in Sevenhampton, her father was a James DENLEY, I think that this might be the James in the entry 67 for the the 1871 census. James was a stonemason. As far as I know mother is the only one of his children still alive.

Alan Print. Researching the PRINT family in Elmstone Hardwicke from 1600. The family seems to have moved, possibly to Pinvin & Wyre Piddle in the mid 1600's, then to Hawling about 1700 and Ashton under Hill about 1733.
