John Hughes, I am researching the
WYATT family. Thomas WYATT of Todenham, Gloucestershire married Jane MARSHALL in 1772 and I believe that their son John is my ancestor. I believe John left Todenham and moved to Clifford Chambers where he became a farmer. He married Mary PRENTICE (also of Todenham ) in 1794. They had several children but I am descended directly from their son William (b. 1809). William WYATT moved to Stratford-upon-Avon and became a Saddler. I have a fair bit of information on this family, including copies of some legal documents regarding John and William.
My John
WYATT was born in 1774 and I am fairly certain that he is from Todenham. His wife Mary PRENTICE also seems to be from there according to the IGI.

J. Barrows (Mrs), I am currently researching my family history and have discovered an ancester of the name Samuel Wright
MISTER who apparently was Rector of Little Rollright Church but has earlier connections with Batsford Church in the early 1800's.Ê His wife Elizabeth Melissa MISTER buried at Batsford in 1857 and I assume her husband was buried there in 1836. On a recent visit to the churchyard I was unable to find any graves with the MISTER surname and as the church was locked I was unable to check whether there was a memorial plaque inside.
