Ogden Point Cafe and Dive Centre - Victoria B.C. Canada

Our History

The OGDEN POINT CAFE opened its doors for business on November 1st of 1996.

Gail Patterson and Bob Lumley spent over 4 years doing the research and planning to realize their vision of an incredible cafe by the Sea, at the foot of Victoria's landmark Breakwater.

Located on Federal Harbour property, the project took an immense amount of what Gail calls the 3 P's - Politeness, Patience and Persistence.

In a very short time, the OGDEN POINT CAFE has set a high standard for its food products, service, atmosphere and cleanliness and has already won a large local following of regulars and great reviews. The OGDEN POINT CAFE is a busy place that works hard to achieve and maintain its success.

The building's architecture has been carefully designed to afford tremendous views and seating for our customers and harmonizes with its unique working sea-harbour setting and history.

The food, features leading-edge cafe/restaurant fare (pastas, bagels, vegetarian and diabetic dishes, awesome salads, espresso, decadent desserts, etc.) Almost all of its ambitious menu offerings are baked and prepared right here from our secret recipes, developed by the owners and talented staff.
