2003 - 2004 Season
Juvenile Age Class
As you all know and for some that don't know, Parkland-NAIT
Jr. Ooks is an affiliated program under the administartion of Parkland
Ravens Volleyball Club. We have been quite successful in the last
2 years under this banner placing 7th at provincials in 2002, and
6th at provincials this past 2003 season. Due to Mr. Wong being
an assistant coach with the NAIT Womens Volleyball team, we have
adopted the name to help recruiters recognize quality athletes which
may be overlooked in a non-established, and unrecognized club.
In 2004, the juvenile coach, Anthony Wong, has decided
to swap places with the midget coach from Parkland Ravens. The midget
coach previously took his midget girls team to a silver at Provincials
and 5th overall at Nationals. Anthony will be coaching the midget
team, and Mr. Smith will be taking over the juvenile team. It hasn't
been decided if he will run it under this banner or the Ravens Volleyball
Club. It is most likely that he will run it as Parkland Ravens.

Results...
We had a very successful year. A talented bunch of
athletes with a lot of potential and a bright future in their volleyball
careers. We finished within the top 9 teams throughout the year
at all of the AVA tournaments. Due to some events, we were not able
to participate at Nationals in Saskatoon, which would have been
a good experience for the players.
