Onsen Japanese

As you visit Onsen further away from the major cities you will find that English is rarely spoken. 
Although not a definitive list, the following should get you started.  Please note the following:

Japanese is best pronounced in an even tone with no stresses.
Final 'u' is silent, for example "desu" is pronounced "des" and not "de-sue"
Final 'e' is voiced so that "kore" is pronounced "ko-re" and not "core"
