The following interactive programs are written in True Basic (a newly
discovered programming language for me, at least) that can be run on most
operating system computers, including Windows and Macs. They can be viewed
as web pages using a WebReader that can be downloaded free:
WebBASIC Readers
To exploit the possibilities of portable,
mini-applications, a Reader for each operating system was needed. The WebBASIC
Readers now perform that task, and
best of all they are free and always available for instant down-loading from
the True BASIC website (http://truebasic.com/webbasic.html).
WebBASIC Readers are available for MS-DOS, MacOS, Windows 3.X, Windows95, and
WindowsNT. Readers for other operating systems will be added as demand
is demonstrated. The average size of a WebBASIC Reader is 800K.
The current programs available.
These programs are also available in .exe for Windows -- e-mail
me if you are interested.

Programs |
Short Description | |
| 1. | Equation to Graph | Input an equation and the program will graph it in XY, Log x, Log y, Log xy, or Polar. Choose the range, color, line style, point style, for as many graphs as you want. No controls, but other advantages |
| 2. | Equation to Graph with controls | Same as above with controls for easier handling. One warning -- at the moment do not use the cut, copy, paste menu in the graph window of this program. The other edit menu works fine. |
| 3. | Text Evolution | This program is to show that things (in this case words) evolve much faster from a random jumble of letters when there is natural selection rather than just pure randomness involved (like mutations in organisms). |
It is necessary to download some Libraries for most True Basic programs --
including others from different web sites. Place these in the same
directory or folder as the programs.
True Basic Libraries:
| 1. | STRLIB.TRC |
| 2. | sglib.trc |
| 3. | TrueCtrl.trc |
| 4. | TrueDial.trc |
