Okotoks Citizens on Patrol exists under the auspices of the RCMP and partners with the Town of Okotoks.

Your involvement in the Okotoks Citizens on Patrol Society is important because the police cannot be everywhere at once.

By patrolling our town, we add eyes and ears to the existing police services. Together we are more effective at watching our town.

As our town grows, the policing needs increase, as do other services. Citizens on Patrol is not a police unit, but as members of the community we add to the capability of our police services.

The Okotoks Citizens on Patrol Society was formed on the basic concept that as citizens of our town we all have a responsibility for its safety. Our members act on this responsibility.

Okotoks Citizens on Patrol is a member of the Alberta Citizens On Patrol Association (ACOPA)  www.acopa.ca
