These Canada goose images were all taken in September and October 2005. Hope you enjoy them as much as I did taking them. All of the pictures were taken with one of two of my Minolta auto-focus lenses: the 100 to 300-mm APO zoom or the 500-mm mirror lens. Clive Schaupmeyer

These Canada geese images were taken across the street from our house in Coaldale, Alberta. There are several hectares of ponds in a park right on the edge of town. These are
wild geese born on or near the Oldman River or elsewhere in southern Alberta.
The ponds provide a convenient resting place for the geese. They fly to
nearby grain fields each morning and evening to feed.
