Read First !  

 All items must be clean & presentable. All serial numbers must be intact & legible. We reserve the right to refuse any articles.

  Policies

  1. All loans are for the term of 60 days.  

  2. Interest is charged for 2 months. A 20% interest discount is applied to the pickup within 30 days of contract date. We usually allow three business days grace from the due date.

  3. We require current photo identification, preferably a BC driver’s license, provincial government ID card, or a Canadian Passport with current address.  Other types of ID may, or may not be accepted.

  4. We are unable to split up loans; you must redeem all items on a Pawn ticket at one time.

  5. We will not show any pawned items to a potential buyer.

  6. We will not accept items that have there serial numbers removed or altered.

  7. Reminder, it is illegal to pawn items that you don’t have a clear title to. Items purchased on time payments or conditional sales agreements are not pawnable until paid in full.

  8. All pawn tickets are bearer receipts.  If one is lost or stolen please notify us in person so that we can protect your goods.  After this notification, you can only pick-up your items with government issued, valid, picture ID, the pawn ticket will no longer be valid for pick-up.  We may not respond to a telephone request!

  9. Loans may be redeemed without the pawn ticket after the loan has expired.

  10. Loans can only be redeemed after 3 days from the contract date.

  11. If you require more than 60 days, a loan may be renewed at our discretion, by paying the interest.  When the interest is paid, we will issue a new pawn ticket valid for another 30 days. (If you renew your contract and do not have your original pawn ticket, you will not get a new one without government issued, valid,   picture ID

  12. If you are unable to pay the interest charges on or before the due date, on request we may hold the item(s) for a maximum of 30 days past the original due date from an  additional maximum charge of 20% of the principle amount received on the loan, Nuway Pawn Broker retains the right to deny such a request.

  13. In the event of a loan default, we may sell the item(s), if available, back to the person who pawned it **Please call for arrangements.

Loan Procedure (6 step) :

  1. Bring in your personal item that will be used for collateral.
  2. Let us how much money you need to borrow.
  3. We will assess your item and discuss the allowable amount for your collateral loan. 
  4. Present valid, government issued photo ID.
  5. Sign the required document.
  6. Collect your cash and your done.
  7. Finally, we label and carefully store your item where it's safe.
  8. It is that easy, about 5 minutes and you on your way....
