Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) History By Dick B
Dick B. writes books on the spiritual history of early A.A. They
show how the basic and highly successful biblical ideas used by
early AAs can be valuable tools for success in today's A.A. Also, the
religious and recovery communities are using his research and
titles to work more effectively with alcoholics, addicts, and others
involved in Twelve Step programs.
A.A. History: "Old School A.A." approaches, resources, groups, study.

A prescription for a dose of early A.A. as reported by Frank Amos in
1938, plus our "within" A.A. approach, suggestions for study, and list
of resources.

Web of Addictions
Welcome to the Web of Addictions.
The Web of Addictions is dedicated to providing accurate information about alcohol and other drug addictions. We
developed the Web of Addictions for several reasons. We are concerned about the pro drug use messages in some
Web sites and in some use groups. We are concerned about the appalling extent of misinformation about abused drugs
on the internet, particularly on some usenet news groups. Finally, we wanted to provide a resource for teachers,
students and others who needed factual information about abused drugs.

time the Wilsons moved in the spring of 1941 until now.

Alcoholism Kills.
who we are
We lost our Father to alcoholism. Our Father was a great
man. At the time of his death our family believed that he had been sober
for over 22 years. Our Father was a member of AA. He lived the program,
always telling us to take it one day at a time and keep the faith.
Apparently he was telling US this because he couldn't do it HIMSELF. At
Dad's death bed, literally, it was revealed to our family that our
Father had been drinking all these years. It didn't stop there. From there we
discovered that Dad was drunk the night of his DEATH. We were always
told and never believed that the next drink could kill you. Our
Father is proof. Your NEXT drink could kill you or someone you
love.
"If I hadn't inherited my alcoholism
my family would have left me nothing."
