Looking at this nude you feel a strong sense of movement and drama as well as a certain contemplative stillness. There is a hint of Cubism and *Art Deco*. The *abstract woman* is very feminine and sexy yet seems to be unaware of it and lost in her own thoughts. I layered the colors and used both cool and warm tones of purples, blues, cobalts, violets and greens that give a lot of depth to the painting when you view it in person.

I created the painting using multiple layers of high-quality *oil* paints. The *colors* are bright and *vibrant* and there are many different hues of pure color that a photo cannot capture. If you like the photo you will love the painting! The colors you see also depend on your computer's monitor settings. The painting's colors depend on the color and intensity of the light that illuminates the painting and different illumination (daylight, evening light, spotlight) will emphasize different hues and tones of colors in the painting.
