Sensual, dramatic abstract nude in vibrant colors with many subtle tones of both cool and warm blues, purples and turquoise. She has a very interesting expression - as if she was trying to tell you something. This is a bold painting with a lot of depth and visual impact. There are strong contrasts of color and texture. I used a Chinese ink brush for the black lines and washes of color as well as thicker paint. The abstraction allows you to 'create' the nude for yourself - the feelings, perceptions and emotions you experience when looking at the painting will be unique to you.

I created the painting using multiple layers of high-quality acrylic paints. The colors are bright and vibrant and there are many different hues of pure colors that a photo cannot capture. The original painting in real life is far more vibrant and the colors are more brilliant than what you can see on your monitor. The painting's colors depend on the color and intensity of the light that illuminates the painting and different illumination (daylight, evening light, spotlight) will emphasize different hues and tones of the colors in the painting.
